Boundary surveys are most commonly used to determine the legal ownership of a specified plot of land and often form part of a legal document (Land Registry) or lease agreement.
In most cases, a boundary survey or property line survey is required when there is disagreement among two or more parties regarding who owns or occupies how much of a boundary. It is useful to have a boundary survey and a proper analysis done in order to establish the facts in order to assist in settlement of these disputes in a calm and professional manner.
Our land boundary surveys can be overlaid on Land Registry or historical maps in order to determine any discrepancies to help resolve any disputes or to record new titles with Land Registry/Councils.
Boundary Surveys are produced on site using our Leica Total Stations and related to Ordnance Survey via GNSS site equipment. Our survey data is integrated with the Ordnance Survey Map, which allows you to relate your site to its surroundings making our boundary survey drawings Land Registry compliant.
